The Gilson Wet/Dry vibratory sieve shaker is an economical electric sieve vibrator and is helpful for fast separations of wet or dry materials using one or two 8in (203mm) diameter full-height ASTM test sieves. Vibration energy is transferred directly to the sieve frames, promoting the passage of finer particles from wet or dry material. This unit works with particles ranging in size from 1 inch to No. 200 (25mm-75µm). The vibrator frame is constructed of powder-coated steel with an integral vibrating unit mounted on the top of the unit and is designed for use with the notched plastic bucket to collect fines. It operates on a 115V, 60Hz 3-wire cord and plug. For operation with 230V, order the TR-502 Step-Up/Step-Down Transformer. For wet samples, use WT-7 Spray Fitting, WT-5 Spray Bottle, or other wet-sieving accessories. For dry sieving applications, SSA-20 Notched Bucket to catch fine material or use an extended-rim sieve pan with a single sieve.
