Description
Developed to measure the permeability of stiffer soils, such as clays, the Rigid Wall Permeameter is very easy to set up and use. The specimen is cut to size using a stainless steel cutting ring which is included. The ends are trimmed square and the specimen and ring are placed between the two cell halves. Constructed of a see-through acrylic top and an anodized aluminum base, the complete assembly is sealed with a simple O-ring. Porous stones contain the specimen and prevent migration of material. Water volume is measured on a graduated burette attached to the bottom valve. Also included is a 2 cc pipet and tubing.
