The new Cimarec+ series of digital stirring hotplates build upon the success of the Thermo Cimarec series of innovative stirring hotplates. The Cimarec+ features an innovative raised display design to protect the electronics and controls from spills. Also available is a new optional clear spash guard that fits snuggly between the hotplate and controls. Three sizes are available (4", 7", 10") and the 7" stirring hotplates come with either ceramic or aluminum heating surfaces. Cimarec+ digital stirring hotplates can also be fitted with the optional PT100 external temperature probe that reads the specimen temperature right on the display. Thermo's StirTrac technology features innovative engineering for slow-speed stirring, consistent speed control, and strong magnetic coupling.
